The NFL season is fast approaching. Players have begun reporting to training camp to showcase their skills and talents.

Despite there being a schedule for when rookies and then veterans can report, that did not stop one player from showing up to training camp ahead of schedule.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson wasted no time finding his way back to the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills, Maryland.

Jackson took to Twitter on Thursday to let his followers know that he is ready to put in the work.

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are preparing for an important 2021 season.

Entering his fourth NFL season, Lamar Jackson looks poised and ready to be back on the football field. There are big expectations for the former league MVP in 2021.

Jackson’s ability to run with the ball is apparent. But what many criticize Jackson for is his passing ability.

After reaching the playoffs but being knocked out early in three consecutive seasons, the Ravens looked to improve the passing attack and build around Jackson.

Baltimore brought in veteran wide receiver Sammy Watkins in free agency and also added Rashod Bateman and Tylan Wallace in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Some ‘sigh’ at the wide receiver additions, but one played with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the other two excelled at the collegiate level — not too shabby.

Jackson is expected to sign a record-breaking contract sometime in the near future. But despite all the contract talks, Jackson is determined to take Baltimore back to the promised land.

"“You know, I’m not going to lie to you; I’m not really focused on that right now. I’m focused on getting a Super Bowl. I’m focused on getting better. I’m focused on working with my teammates right now. I don’t really … Whatever was out there – put out there – that’s what it is. Like I said before, I’m focused on winning right now. I’m trying to bring a Super Bowl here.”"
