The Baltimore Ravens emerged as victors in their first preseason game of the 2021 season, something that should come as little surprise given the team’s incredible streak of exhibition performances.

With Saturday’s victory, the Ravens have extended their preseason winning streak to 18 games. Does that mean anything? Not exactly — it’s little more than a fun trivia answer.

What does mean something, however, is the performance of various players during Saturday’s preseason opener.

Baltimore rested many of their starters this past weekend with Lamar Jackson, among others, sitting out. That left plenty of opportunities for other players on the roster to make an impact.

Some of those players found ways to stand out and established themselves as stars of the weekend. Others weren’t so fortunate and saw their stock plummet following the game.

Either way, it was an important day for roster bubble players.

The Ravens will be forced to trim their roster to 53 players in about two weeks once August 31st arrives. Until then, many players on the team will quite literally be fighting for their jobs.

A few of those players may have already clinched spots following their performance on Saturday.

Be it because of their own performance, lackluster showings from others, or a combination of the two, the following four players have all but clinched roster spots after the team’s preseason opener.

Let’s take a look at four players who have done so.
