2. DeShon Elliott, S, Ravens

We already discussed Chuck Clark’s standout performance on Saturday, but even he was outdone by his position-mate, DeShon Elliott. Elliott was a man possessed on Saturday.

The former sixth-round pick dominated the early goings of the game recording four tackles on the team’s first 11 defensive snaps. Also among those 11 snaps were also two tackles for loss and a sack that directly preceded Clark’s forced fumble.

Elliott was all over the field on Saturday as he looked like one of the best players on either side of the ball.

Entering a contract year, Elliott will look to build upon a solid first year as a starter in 2020. More performances like this will help him cash in big time in the offseason.

1. Ty’Son Williams, RB, Ravens

If it wasn’t already clear before the game started, Justice Hill has officially been put on notice. Hill sat out with an ankle injury, and in his place, his competition continued to shine.

We already touched on Nate McCrary, but it was Ty’Son Williams who came away with what might have been the play of the preseason so far.

With around 9:10 remaining in the fourth quarter, Williams took a handoff from Huntley, made multiple defenders miss with a jump cut, dragged a few would-be tacklers, and dove into the end zone for a 20-yard score.

It’s getting hard to ignore Williams’ standout performances as he’s doing everything in his power to earn a spot on the 53-man roster.

Saturday’s game was just another example of Williams making the most of his touches.
