3. Ravens target: Antonio Gandy-Golden, WR

Antonio Gandy-Golden should garner plenty of interest on the waiver wire after being cut by Washington. And the Ravens, who saw plenty of him during the team’s joint practices, could make their move.

At 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, Gandy-Golden is a physical specimen who is an ideal developmental project. It helps that his large stature allows him to excel as a run blocker too — something that always helps a player’s case with the Ravens.

Just ask Miles Boykin.

2. Ravens target: Carson Green, OL

Carson Green was seen by many as a Day 3 lock in this year’s draft, which made it all the more surprising when he went undrafted. What’s even more surprising is that, despite a strong summer, the Houston Texans opted to waive Green as part of final roster cuts.

The former Texas A&M standout started 40 games over his collegiate career and allowed just one pressure on 44 pass-block snaps in the preseason.

Green has guard and tackle flexibility and could be another strong depth piece if he isn’t claimed by another team before the Ravens.

1. Ravens target: Wayne Gallman, RB

There is no better running back on the market than Wayne Gallman. Gallman put together a breakout year with the NY Giants in 2020 rushing for 682 yards on a swift 4.6 yards per carry while filling in for Saquon Barkley.

Despite this, he found himself as the odd-man-out in a crowded 49ers backfield this summer. Gallman would immediately provide a boost to the Ravens’ running back room and give the team another reliable veteran to trust.

What separates him from the other running backs on this list is that he was actually an efficient runner as recent as last year.

If the Ravens make one waiver claim, this should be it.
