The Baltimore Ravens are set to take on the Las Vegas Raiders as they kick off their 2021 season in style traveling to Allegiant Stadium for the first Monday Night Football game of the year.
Fresh off an 11-5 season, the Ravens are looking to return to the postseason for the fourth consecutive year. This time, they’ll be looking to make it further than the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
Meanwhile, the Raiders are hoping to finish above .500 for the first time since 2016 and the first time in the Jon Gruden/Mike Mayock era. An offseason of numerous additions, including former Ravens pass rusher Yannick Ngakoue, will hopefully get them to where they want to be.
Will the Ravens start their season with a victory or will the Raiders score the win in their home stadium?

According to WynnBet, the Ravens are 4.5-point favorites on the road against the Raiders. The Ravens’ moneyline for the game is currently set at -220 while the Raiders are the underdogs at +175.
Ravens vs. Raiders Prediction Week 1
Even with the Ravens traveling across the country, it’s hard to pick against them in this game. There are just too many holes in the Raiders’ defense to comfortably predict that they will be able to slow down Lamar Jackson and the Ravens’ offense.
Jackson and the running game, even without J.K. Dobbins, should be able to carve up a defense that allowed the second-most rushing touchdowns a year ago.
Meanwhile, Derek Carr and the Raiders offense might struggle to move the ball in the air against such a talented Ravens secondary.
The key for Las Vegas will be to establish a ground game against a Ravens defense that needs to prove its worth against the run. But if the Ravens can get an early lead and force the Raiders to become one-dimensional, it might become an exercise of futility.
