3. Where was Ty’Son Williams?

Ty’Son Williams started this game hot. He caught three balls for 29 yards and rushed for 65 yards. He even scored the game’s first touchdown when he broke loose for a 35-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

However, we saw very little of Williams in the second half. There was a play where it seemed like he fumbled the ball on the sideline but the play was already ruled dead.

After that, Williams didn’t get on the field much. He was the feature back in the first half but Latavius Murray was played more after halftime.

As a result, the run game faltered. Other than Jackson’s crazy runs, the Ravens didn’t do much on the ground in the second half.

Whether or not Williams was in John Harbaugh’s doghouse, it is clear that Williams is the best option for the running so far in this offense.

Maybe Murray needs a few more games to learn the offense but as of right now, Ty’Son Williams needs to be receiving the majority of snaps at running back.
