Ravens Game Sunday: Ravens vs. Chiefs odds and prediction for Week 2 NFL Game
By Justin Fried
The Baltimore Ravens are reeling following a heart-wrenching, disappointing loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1. But there will be no rest for the weary.
The Ravens will return home for another primetime game, this time at home but on a short week. And their opponents will be none other than the Kansas City Chiefs.
While the Ravens lost in heart-breaking fashion in Week 1, the Chiefs clawed back from behind and pulled out the win against Baltimore’s AFC North rivals, the Cleveland Browns.
The Ravens can ill-afford to drop their first two games of the season, but it’ll take a much better effort against Kansas City to score their first win of the year.
Ravens vs. Chiefs Odds Week 2
According to WynnBet, the Ravens are 3.5-point underdogs at home against the Chiefs. The Ravens’ moneyline for the game is currently set at +165 while the Chiefs are the favorites at +195.
The over/under is set at 55 points.
Ravens vs. Chiefs Prediction Week 2
Given what we saw from both of these teams in Week 1, it’s difficult to predict a Ravens win. The Ravens were just beaten down in the trenches by a less-than-stellar Raiders team in Week 1 and it’s hard to see it getting much better in the span of six days.
The Ravens’ offensive line is still a major work in progress — the loss of Tyre Phillips doing them no favors. Meanwhile, the Ravens failed to get pressure consistently on Derek Carr despite facing a lackluster Raiders offensive line.
And although the secondary held up well enough in Week 1, it’s hard to see them having as much success against the Chiefs on Sunday.
It won’t get any easier for the Ravens in Week 2. I’ll predict a Chiefs win to the tune of a 35-17 final score.
