The Baltimore Ravens will travel to Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions in Week 3, fresh off a monumental win over the Kansas City Chiefs just six days ago.

Riding a wave of momentum, this is a game the Ravens very much should win. Although all bets may be off following an unexpected development this weekend that saw a number of players land on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Suddenly, that wave of momentum that the Ravens were riding has been replaced with a pair of crutches as the team will limp their way into Detroit.

These absences could have an effect on a number of player prop bets this weekend. Let’s take a look at the three best prop bets for the Ravens’ Week 3 matchup with the Lions.

1. Ty’Son Williams, RB, Ravens: 58.5 rushing yards (o/u)

Ty’Son Williams has rushed for 65 or more yards in each of his first two career games, and there’s no reason to expect that trend to stop against a Lions team that has struggled against the run.

Detroit’s 53.5 run-defense grade, per Pro Football Focus, is the eighth-worst in the NFL. Meanwhile, the Ravens 73.2 run-blocking grade is the fifth highest in the league.

It’s hard to see that as anything other than a major mismatch.

Throw in the fact that the Ravens could very well be leading for the majority of this game allowing them to run out the clock and this is about as good of a bet as you’re going to get.

Bet the over on Ty’Son Williams in Week 3.
