2. D’Andre Swift, RB, Lions: 38.5 rushing yards (o/u)

D’Andre Swift has been splitting touches pretty evenly with Jamaal Williams to start the 2021 season. And his 38.5-projection in Week 3 is right around the total he’s averaged through the first two weeks of the year.

Swift ran for 39 yards on 11 carries in Week 1 while rushing for 37 yards in eight attempts the following week.

Despite their many struggles, the Lions have actually been pretty efficient at running the football. And that could very well continue in Week 3 against a very susceptible Ravens front-seven.

Baltimore has been good against the run so far, but they’ll be playing shorthanded this week. Brandon Williams, Justin Madubuike, and Justin Houston are all sidelined leaving the front-seven uber thin.

That defensive line will now be anchored by the likes of Broderick Washington and Justin Ellis, to go along with Calais Campbell, with practice-squad callup Kahlil McKenzie the only backup.

That could be a recipe for disaster for the Ravens.

Swift should get enough carries to reach the 39-yard mark even with him splitting touches with Williams.

It helps that this projection is as low as it is. Expect Swift to smash this number on Sunday.
