3. Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens: 27.5 pass attempts (o/u)

It’s always a tricky proposition betting on player props for Lamar Jackson. It’s almost impossible to determine on a weekly basis how much of his production will come in the air and how much will come on the ground.

But it’s probably a safe call to bet the under on Jackson’s 27.5 pass attempts this week.

Jackson completed 19-of-30 passes in an overtime loss in Week 1 before going 18-of-26 in the air this past Sunday night. Both of those games were close until the final minute —  something that might not be true for this game.

Even with the numerous absences/injuries the Ravens are dealing with, they’re still considered the hefty favorites in this one. That should mean that Jackson is asked to throw the ball less, not more, than last week.

On top of that, the Lions are susceptible to the running game, as previously noted, meaning that Jackson could have a field day on Sunday.

Detroit’s front-seven isn’t necessarily bad, but their lack of speed was evident this past week against Aaron Jones and the Green Bay Packers.

If the Packers’ offense was able to exploit the Lions’ lack of speed on the perimeter, that bodes well for what Jackson could do.
