The Baltimore Ravens are looking ahead to their Week 6 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers expecting yet another action-packed, exciting game. And how could they expect anything less?

The Ravens have played five games this season, four of which have been decided in the final seconds.

That includes two overtime games, a nail-biter against the Kansas City Chiefs that was won thanks to a forced fumble in the final minute and a 4th-down run, and a 66-yard game-winning field goal against the Detroit Lions.

There’s no reason to expect that this week’s game will be any different facing an electric Chargers team led by MVP candidate Justin Herbert.

Ravens vs. Chargers Prediction Week 6

This week’s Ravens/Chargers game promises to be one of the most highly-anticipated matchups in Week 6. Given all the primetime and 4 o’clock games the Ravens have played to this point, it seems criminal that this game is on at 1 pm.

Nonetheless, this game features two of the most exciting young quarterbacks in the NFL in Lamar Jackson and Justin Herbert, both of whom are coming off incredible performances.

The Chargers are fresh off a thrilling 47-42 victory over the Cleveland Browns in which Herbert threw for four touchdowns and nearly 400 yards of his own.

Ultimately, despite their success this season, the Ravens feel like the inferior team here. Especially after the performance we just saw in Week 5.

The defense has some major issues led by inconsistent (at best) tackling while the lack of a running game will eventually come back to bite them.

It’s hard to bet against Jackson with him playing at such a high level right now, but one of the few QBs who has matched him step-for-step has been Herbert.

The Chargers have the better team and, although they will be on the road, they still manage to pick up the victory over the Ravens who are facing a short week.

Final score of 35-30.
