2. Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens: 69.5 rushing yards (o/u)

We’re not only betting the over on Lamar Jackson’s passing yards prop, we’re doing the same for his rushing yards prop. That’s just how good he is right now.

Jackson’s rushing numbers have dipped a little as he’s been forced to rely more on his arm to gain yards. After two consecutive 85+ yard performances on the ground to start the season, he hasn’t topped 65 yards in any of the last three weeks.

Nonetheless, this feels like the matchup where his rushing numbers will bounce back.

The Chargers enter the game allowing the most yards per game and yards per carry among all NFL defenses. In particular, they seem especially susceptible to a quarterback like Jackson that can do damage in the open field.

Los Angeles is looking very thin at linebacker with Kenneth Murray on the injured reserve and Drue Tranquill already declared out for this game.

They’ll be forced to start rookie sixth-round pick Nick Niemann alongside Kyzir White making for one of the least proven linebacker tandems in the NFL right now.

On top of that, run-stuffing defensive tackle Justin Jones is on the injured reserve as well making this an incredibly favorable matchup for Jackson and the Ravens rushing attack.

Rather than bet on Latavius Murray hitting his prop (44.5 yards), the safer play is probably to go with Jackson given the uncertainty surrounding the Ravens running back rotation.

Best Bet: OVER
