3. Welcome back DeShon Elliott

DeShon Elliott had missed the previous two games with a quad injury, but he returned this week and quickly reminded everyone of the playmaker he is.

Elliott finished with three tackles, a sack, a tackle for loss, two pass deflections, two QB hits, and his first career interception.

It was a banner day for Elliott who is looking to secure a sizable payday in the near future. More performances like this one will help him do so.

4. Lamar Jackson was not as sharp this week

Lamar Jackson wasn’t as sharp this week. He missed a few throws, threw an ugly interception to Chargers linebacker Kyzir White, and just didn’t look as comfortable as he had in recent weeks.

But after Jackson had essentially willed his team to victory in each of the last two weeks, the Ravens helped him out with his run game and defense uplifting him.

It wasn’t all bad for Jackson as he still finished 19-of-27 for 167 yards while adding 51 yards on the ground. It wasn’t the MVP-like performance that we’ve come to expect from Jackson.

But it didn’t need to be. The Ravens got the job done regardless.
