3. Ja’Marr Chase, WR, Bengals: 4.5 receptions (o/u)

Bengals rookie wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase has taken the NFL by storm through the first six weeks of the season. The former LSU star ranks fourth among all receivers in receiving yards and touchdowns.

He’s been a revelation for Cincinnati putting behind any and all preseason struggles. However, a matchup against the Ravens in Week 7 could slow him down just a little.

Chase will likely be matched up with Marlon Humphrey for a lot of the game presenting him with one of his toughest challenges yet.

Humphrey is still playing at a high level and remains one of the best cornerbacks in football. To counteract that, the Bengals might look to target other members of the Ravens secondary.

Tavon Young was limited in practice this week with a knee injury while Anthony Averett has been inconsistent in recent weeks. That could be good news for the likes of Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins.

On top of that, while Chase has been racking up yards, he hasn’t exactly been catching the ball at a very high rate. Chase has just 27 catches through six games averaging exactly 4.5 receptions per game.

In three of his six games this season, Chase has failed to catch five or more passes. It’s a fair assumption to make that he might fall short in this game.

Chase has been fantastic all year, but if you’re betting on his reception count in Week 7, bet the under.
