Come Sunday, after 13 long days without it, Baltimore Ravens football is back. Is it just me or did the lack of Ravens’ football feel especially long?

Either way, it’s great to look forward to the weekend knowing there’ll be a Ravens game to enjoy.

On Sunday, the Ravens face a visit from the Minnesota Vikings, their first visit since the now-legendary 2013 snow game.

As previously mentioned, the Ravens are coming off their bye, which they entered after a 41-17 home drubbing by the Cincinnati Bengals.

In John Harbaugh’s tenure, the bye week has treated the Ravens very well. In the game following the bye, Harbaugh’s Ravens are a combined 10-3, and 5-1 having lost the week before.

This year the bye came at a particularly good time for an injury-ravaged squad, affording extra time for recovery and setting up four key players to potentially return to action.

At 5-2, the Ravens are well in the mix for the AFC’s top seed but they must avoid any more upsets, with much tougher games on the horizon against the likes of the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, and every AFC North team.

This week’s game against the Vikings, then, is very important. Fortunately, the Ravens have a handful of players, specifically, who you should watch to have a big impact on this game.
