1. Jaylon Ferguson, OLB, Ravens

Another former third-round pick, Jaylon Ferguson has failed to make the most of his opportunities and he finds himself hanging onto a roster spot by a thread at the moment.

Ferguson went into the summer needing to make a big impact following two disappointing years in Baltimore. He showed up in arguably the best shape of his career and earned plenty of praise from the coaching staff.

But that praise hasn’t produced results.

Ferguson has played in just three games this season recording two tackles, both of which came in Week 1. He’s been on the field for only 19 total defensive snaps, or roughly three percent of the team’s defensive snaps this year.

He’s received slightly more playing time on special teams with 26 special-teams snaps to his name, but his impact has been minimal.

A midseason bout with COVID-19 did him no favors, but he’s still been a healthy scratch most weeks he’s been eligible to play.

Ferguson’s Week 9 appearance was his first since Week 2 and it was followed up by a healthy scratch the next week. He just isn’t seeing the field.

It’s hard to see Ferguson having much of a future with the organization given how far he’s fallen down the depth chart and the fact that he isn’t receiving playing time.

And you could easily argue that there is no less valuable player on the roster now than the man they once called “Sack Daddy.”
