The Baltimore Ravens have dealt with injuries perhaps more than any other team this season. But the Ravens injury report for Week 11 is unlike anything they, or any team for that matter, has seen to this point.
The Ravens released their final injury report for Week 11 on Friday and a whopping 17 players were on the list while 13 of them received injury designations for Sunday’s game.
In total, three players have been ruled OUT while 10 others are listed as questionable. The three players who are guaranteed not to play this weekend are defensive tackle Brandon Williams (shoulder), outside linebacker Pernell McPhee (knee), and wide receiver Miles Boykin (thigh).
Rather than list the other 10 players who received designations, we’ll just drop the full report below instead to save everyone time.
The Ravens injury report has players like Marquise Brown and Anthony Averett listed as questionable
Now, it should be noted that four players on the above list do not have injury designations. Defensive lineman Calais Campbell received a veteran’s rest day on Friday and does not have any injury to report.
Meanwhile, the likes of quarterback Lamar Jackson, wide receiver Rashod Bateman, and center Bradley Bozeman were all full participants on Friday after missing time earlier in the week with a non-COVID-19 illness.
It’s assumed that most if not all of the limited participants on Friday will play this week. That includes returning players like Latavius Murray and Patrick Mekari. Tight end Nick Boyle has been a full participant this week and is expected to make his 2021 debut on Sunday.
However, the same might not be true for players like cornerback Anthony Averett, offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi, and linebacker Kristian Welch who all did not practice on Friday.
The only major loss there would be Averett whose absence would certainly be felt in the Ravens’ secondary.
The Ravens will certainly be shorthanded this Sunday. Just how many players they will be without remains to be seen.
But if one tweet was to sum up this team’s season, it would likely be the one listed above.
