The start of the week couldn’t have gone any worse for the Baltimore Ravens. After a disappointing 22-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins last Thursday, the Ravens were hoping to get a little healthier with the extra rest.

However, the exact opposite happened. While the Ravens did get Patrick Mekari and Nick Boyle back, their injury report grew larger this week.

First, there was a non-COVID illness spreading around the building which got multiple players sick including Lamar Jackson. This forced Jackson to miss the game. However other key players such as Jimmy Smith, Marquise Brown, and Anthony Averett ended up missing the game.

All season, it seems like once the Ravens get one or two players back, another two or three go down with injuries.

However, despite being shorthanded this week, the Ravens pulled off an incredible 16-13 win over the Chicago Bears.

Several players stepped up their play in this week’s game. Let’s take a look at three players who helped the Ravens win a tight contest in Chicago.
