Ravens studs and duds from crucial Week 12 win over the Browns

6. The Ravens running game
Last and definitely least, Baltimore’s running game failed to make a dent in Week 12 against the Browns.
Jackson led the pack with 17 carries for 68 yards, but behind him, the trail of running backs is just sad and ineffective.
Devonta Freeman, who has been making some waves as an efficient red-zone back, recorded 16 carries for 52 yards. Latavius Murray, who has missed time due to injury, recorded eight carries for 14 yards. Ty’Son Williams had one carry for one yard.
Baltimore has the league’s most dynamic runner behind center, which should give them plenty of options in the running game.
Yet Cleveland’s defense had the entire running back room’s number and held the Ravens to an average of 2.7 yards per carry.
This just seems to be the running motif of Baltimore’s season after losing both their star backs to injuries, and for a team that’s been so down on luck, you can’t really blame them.
The Ravens’ passing offense, then, will have to keep Baltimore at the top of the AFC North. Oh, how the tables have turned.
