2. Brandon Williams, DT, Ravens
We could have included one of the usual suspects — Mark Andrews, Justin Tucker, maybe one of the wide receivers — as one of the studs, but Brandon Williams deserved the nod this game.
In his second game back from injury, the defensive tackle served as the immovable stalwart in the Ravens’ defensive line. Williams helped stunt the Steelers’ rushing offense, allowing rookie Najee Harris 71 yards over the course of the game.
Ravens defense is doing one heck of a job so far, especially neutralizing Najee Harris. Brandon Williams seems to be playing much better at the line of scrimmage. Maybe healthier. Steelers only got one first down so far. I think they are under 5 minutes of possession, Ravens 18+

Williams finished as the team leader in tackles (11), which is rare for a nose tackle like him. That may be more telling of the other Ravens’ defenders’ performances, but Williams definitely brought his A-game in Week 13.
The team captain also reaffirmed his faith in Lamar Jackson, telling reporters after the game that the team would go for that play “1,000 more times.”
Williams knows how to put his team first, and he’s been invaluable on the defensive line in the last two weeks.
