2. Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens: 1.5 passing touchdowns (o/u)
On that same note, Jackson’s struggles in the passing game negatively affect his passing prop bets. That’s especially true for his passing touchdown prop which is set at 1.5 once again.
Jackson has made 11 starts this season and only thrown for more than one passing touchdown in two of them. Even when he was playing at a high level, he still wasn’t throwing a lot of touchdowns.
Why expect that to change in Week 14 with Jackson struggling as much as he is at the moment? The short answer is you shouldn’t.
The Browns, for as injured as they are, still have a talented secondary — one that held Jackson to 165 yards and four interceptions two weeks ago.
That game against the Browns might have been the worst of Jackson’s NFL career. And after another poor showing against the Steelers, the former MVP shouldn’t be expected to throw for multiple touchdowns.
Expect Jackson and the Ravens to lean on the ground game as much as possible in this one. Jackson’s passing touchdowns just haven’t been there this year.
I don’t expect that to change this Sunday.
