3. Nick Chubb, RB, Browns: 70.5 rushing yards (o/u)

Fool me once, shame on you and that whole schtick. Nick Chubb and the Browns rushing attack were absolutely shut down when these two teams met two weeks ago.

Chubb finished with eight rushes for a measly 16 yards in what was easily his worst performance of the season. Prior to that game, Chubb’s season-low was 61 yards back in Week 8 — the only game he had been kept under 80 rushing yards.

What the Ravens did to Chubb in Week 12 was uncharacteristic and almost unfathomable, especially given how inconsistent the Ravens’ run defense has been at points this season.

For that reason, however, I’m taking the over here just like I foolishly did two weeks ago. Chubb’s rushing yards prop has dropped over 10 yards this time, and I would be surprised if the Ravens managed to hold him under it.

Brandon Williams had his best game of the season in Week 12. Patrick Queen continued his run of impressive performances. And, as a whole, the Ravens defense played lights out.

But with two weeks to prepare for the same opponent, the Browns should be able to find more success running the football against Baltimore.

There is some concern given how much Kareem Hunt might eat into Chubb’s touches. But I still think the safer play here is to bet the over. We’ll see if I’m fooled once again.
