2. How will the Ravens’ offense respond to the increased pressure?

One of the biggest issues the Ravens offense has been dealing with is trying to figure out how to handle the increase in pressure. The Miami loss became a blueprint for their opponents as the Ravens offense has seen an increased amount of blitzes being thrown at them.

The offense has not responded well to these blitzes. The latest iteration was demonstrated in the Steelers game in which Lamar Jackson was sacked seven times.

Handling the blitz has been an issue for them over the last month. Jackson has been pressured on 54 of his dropbacks over the last three games.

That number could rise even higher as they deal with a Browns defense that is looking to put a lot of pressure on Jackson and the offense, similar to what they did during the Ravens’ ugly 16-10 win on Sunday Night Football.

The Ravens’ response has had little to no effect on their opponents. Teams will continue to blitz them at a high rate until this offense shows they can be effective against it.

This comes down to play-calling from offensive coordinator Greg Roman and execution from Jackson and the players on offense.

The Ravens’ offense needs to figure out a response as soon as possible.
