The Baltimore Ravens released one final update on quarterback Lamar Jackson ahead of the team’s Week 15 matchup with the Green Bay Packers.

After being held out of practice on both Wednesday and Thursday as he nursed his ankle injury, Jackson was once again held out on Friday.

But despite not practicing all week, head coach John Harbaugh indicated on Friday that there’s still a chance Jackson could play this Sunday. The team will check with his pregame to determine his status.

The Ravens have not released their final injury report yet at the time of writing, but the presumption is that Jackson will be listed as questionable, based solely on Harbaugh’s comments.

Still, the safe bet would probably be to assume that Tyler Huntley receives the start in his place.

The Ravens have not made a decision yet on Lamar Jackson

Jackson was injured early in the second quarter of the team’s 24-22 Week 14 loss to the Cleveland Browns this past Sunday. All things considered, both Jackson and the Ravens were fortunate given the outcome.

Jackson suffered a low-ankle sprain which was probably the best news they could have gotten. Even if he’s forced to miss this week, the hope would be that he could return in time for a crucial division matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 16.

If Jackson can’t play against the Packers, Huntley will be asked to make his second career start. The former undrafted free agent started earlier in the year helping leading his team to a victory over the Chicago Bears.

He played admirably in Jackson’s absence last Sunday, although a matchup against a stout Packers defense undoubtedly presents a more difficult challenge.

We probably won’t find out until Sunday if Lamar Jackson is actually playing. But after failing to practice at all this week, even in Friday’s walkthrough, all signs point to him missing Week 15.
