Another player, another possible retirement. Of the players on this list, Calais Campbell is likely the only one still playing at a very high level. He’s also the oldest and most experienced having been in the NFL since 2008.

The longtime Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman is set to conclude his 14th NFL season this weekend — an incredible feat for any player, let alone one who is still putting together some very impressive performances.

While his box score numbers won’t jump off the chart — he has just 1.5 sacks in 14 games — Campbell is actually the second-highest graded player on the entire Ravens roster, per Pro Football Focus.

Campbell’s 82.2 PFF grade ranks seventh out of 127 qualified interior defensive linemen and trails just Mark Andrews on his team. He’s been one of the Ravens’ best defensive players this season.

Still, Campbell has been mulling retirement since the offseason and has insisted that he will address the situation after the season was over.

Of the players on this list, Campbell is probably the most likely to return simply because of his caliber of play. The Ravens are looking to get younger on the defensive line, but if Campbell wants to stick around, they’ll probably be able to make room.

However, all signs do seem to suggest that Campbell is headed for retirement and, likely soon after, Canton.
