The Baltimore Ravens have long earned a reputation of thriving on stability. The organization has been able to find as much success as they have over the years due in large part to their consistency on and off the field.

That, of course, is a direct extension of their front office and coaching staff.

The Ravens, as a whole, have been run by the same collection of individuals for well over a decade now. General manager Eric DeCosta has been with the organization in some capacity since their inaugural season in 1996 even though he only officially took over as GM in 2019. The same goes for former GM Ozzie Newsome.

John Harbaugh has reigned as head coach since 2008 making him one of the longest-tenured coaches in the NFL. Even defensive coordinator Wink Martindale has been with the franchise since 2012, first as a linebackers coach before taking over as defensive coordinator.

The Ravens thrive on stability and consistency, but change is oftentimes still necessary in the fast-paced world of the NFL. That might be as true as ever this offseason.

The Ravens are expecting an offseason of extensive overhaul with a number of players on the roster set to retire or depart elsewhere. But that overhaul might not be limited to the roster.

Baltimore could look to make a few changes to their coaching staff over the coming months. Some of those changes might be brought on by necessity while others would be more tactical decisions.

With that, let’s take a look at three coaching changes the Ravens might make this offseason.
