3. Final thoughts

Mark Andrews continues to evolve as a football player. He was always a great receiving tight end but now, he has become a great blocker as well.

He has joined elite status for the position because he is able to do everything on the field at a dominant level.

Along with his improvement in blocking, his receiving numbers also made a huge jump. He had career highs across the board despite multiple injuries plaguing the Ravens.

As the No. 1 target, he was constantly the focus for the opposition defensive game plan however, Andrews still dominated every game.

In fact, he had the greatest receiving season in franchise history. Although it is very early, Andrews is on his way to being the Ravens’ greatest tight end in team history. Signing him to contract extension earlier this season has already proven to be a great move by the team.

The sky is the limit for Mark Andrews, and like his quarterback Lamar Jackson, they show their work ethic improving in the offseason every year.
