6. Ravens draft target: Coby Bryant, CB, Cincinnati

Expect the Ravens to address the secondary this offseason, especially with Anthony Averett and DeShon Elliott set to hit the open market. This is a team that loves their defensive backs, and one player that should be on their radar is Coby Bryant.

The Cincinnati product is a physical, aggressive cornerback who played with a “Mamba Mentality,” as described by his teammates. Although Bryant often played second fiddle to Ahmad Gardner, that shouldn’t take away from how good he was.

He has ideal size for the position at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, and is both intelligent and physical in coverage. However, while he’s a willing tackler, his inconsistency in run defense is a detriment at times.

Ultimately, Bryant is an appealing mid-round target who can continue to raise his stock with a strong showing at the Senior Bowl.

5. Ravens draft target: Chad Muma, LB, Wyoming

Objectiveness aside for a moment, Chad Muma is probably my favorite prospect in this draft class. Muma is a true three-down linebacker with the athleticism, physicality, and intelligence to be a star at the next level.

He hasn’t received nearly as much hype as the likes of Devin Lloyd and Nakobe Dean, but with Lloyd opting out of the Senior Bowl, Muma has finally received the opportunity to shine on a national stage.

Muma reminds me so much of fellow former Wyoming linebacker, Logan Wilson. Like Wilson, Muma is a stout run defender who has enough athleticism to get by in zone coverage.

He’s someone who could step in and serve as a perfect complement to Patrick Queen providing the Ravens with the linebacker help they need.
