4. Ravens draft target: Jermaine Johnson, EDGE, Florida State

Jermaine Johnson has been one of the most dramatic risers over the past month or so going from solidified Day 2 prospect to someone who might not make it out of the first round.

He’s as well-rounded as they come with a high floor as both a pass rusher and run stopped. And his athleticism and natural traits give him a pretty high ceiling as well.

At 6-foot-5, 265 pounds, Johnson has a relentless motor and the versatility to line up either at defensive end or outside linebacker. The latter is the role he’d likely fill in Baltimore.

Justin Houston is a free agent and Tyus Bowser is recovering from a torn Achilles. The Ravens need extra depth at outside linebacker and Johnson could do the trick.

3. Ravens draft target: Zion Johnson, OG, Boston College

The Ravens could add as many as two or three new offensive linemen this offseason, and it’s very likely they address the position group early, perhaps as early as Day 1.

One player who makes sense as a first or second-round prospect is Boston College’s Zion Johnson. Johnson has been one of the stars of Senior Bowl week impressing scouts with both his work ethic and on-field excellence.

He’s a former left tackle who has ample athleticism and lateral mobility. Johnson is probably a better pass protector than run blocker at this stage, but he projects as a plug-and-play starter who can develop into an above-average (if not better) guard at the next level.

Johnson could step in as a day-one starter at left guard and even potentially fill in at center (he’s been playing some center in Mobile) with Bradley Bozeman’s future uncertain.
