8. Ravens target: Calais Campbell, DE

The Ravens aren’t only looking to sign new free agents this offseason, they’re also looking to keep some of their own. And that notion is perhaps no more true than as it pertains to Calais Campbell.

Campbell will play at least one more season in 2022, but it remains unclear where that will be. The 35-year-old has insisted that he’s keeping his options open.

In all likelihood, Campbell is looking to sign on with a contender and a team he could compete for a Super Bowl with in 2022. That team could be the Ravens, but it isn’t guaranteed.

The Ravens already need to bolster their defensive line this offseason. That need would grow exponentially if they’re unable to re-sign Campbell.

7. Ravens target: Bradley Bozeman, C

Another player who suddenly looks like a must-re-sign is Bradley Bozeman. The center market has dried up quickly and Bozeman remains the only real viable starter available.

The Ravens obviously want Bozeman back. Following a breakout 2021 season, the Ravens are well aware of how important he is to their offense. But so too is the rest of the NFL.

If the Ravens are unable to re-sign Bozeman, they’ll likely be forced to roll with a combination of Patrick Mekari, Trystan Colon-Castillo, and whoever they could land in the 2022 NFL Draft.

That’s not an ideal situation. The Ravens need to make every effort to bring Bozeman back.
