1. Ravens’ Most Likely To Succeed: Kyle Hamilton

This was a close one between Kyle Hamilton and Tyler Linderbaum, but Hamilton has Defensive Rookie Of The Year potential and arguably also has the most upside of any other Ravens rookie. Linderbaum, on the other hand, merely fills an important need.

Hamilton represents a player the Ravens didn’t really want in terms of position need, but by the end of the 2022 season, he could easily turn into Baltimore’s most valuable defensive asset.

He’s already settling in nicely with the rest of the Ravens’ secondary unit and despite the steep learning curve for a rookie safety, Hamilton should serve as a starting-caliber defender this season.

On a star-studded pass defense like Baltimore, Hamilton may get targeted more by opposing teams, but we believe he can rise to the occasion and terrify offenses with his elite pass coverage and playmaking abilities.

Whereas he may not be afforded the same positional versatility in weaker defenses, on the Ravens, Hamilton can take advantage of being considered the “weak link” and wreak havoc all across the field.

The sky’s the limit for this unicorn freak of an athlete, and we don’t think Hamilton could have asked for a better team environment or culture fit in 2022.
