One word defines the Baltimore Ravens‘ 2022 season: Revenge.

After missing out on the playoffs and recording a losing record in 2021, the Ravens are out for blood and will stop at nothing to regain their dominance in the league.

Baltimore already made key additions to its roster in the draft as each of the team’s selections was widely hailed as a smart and sensible pick. The likes of Kyle Hamilton and Tyler Linderbaum serve as elite starting-caliber options who can make an immediate impact in Year 1, but expect John Harbaugh to continue tinkering with the roster this offseason and hopefully add a few veterans at needy positions.

Whereas the rookies will begin their Ravens careers with a clean slate, other players have more to prove whether it’s because they disappointed last season, their starting job is in jeopardy, or both.

Heading into 2022, a handful of Ravens players may be extra eager to impress and have the next few months to prove their value on the team. Will they break out or will they fall further down the depth chart?

These are three Ravens who are playing with a chip on their shoulder in 2022:
