6. The Ravens could sign T.Y. Hilton

At one time not too long ago, T.Y. Hilton was one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. He led the entire league in receiving in 2016 and made four consecutive Pro Bowls from 2014 to 2017.

But after a decade with the Indianapolis Colts, the 32-year-old is a shell of the player he used to be. Injuries have taken their toll as Hilton hasn’t played a full season since 2017 and has appeared in just 10 games in two of the last three years.

Still, when healthy, Hilton has proved that he can still play. He finished with 56 catches for 762 in 15 games in 2020 before an injury-riddled 2021 campaign.

Hilton is still a good player even at his age. He wouldn’t transform the Ravens’ offense, but he would be a worthwhile addition.

5. The Ravens could sign Emmanuel Sanders

Another veteran free agent who has seen better days is Emmanuel Sanders. At a whopping 35-years-old, Sanders is still looking to sign on with a new team after spending last season with the Buffalo Bills.

Originally a third-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers way back in 2010, Sanders found his most success in Denver where he put together three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons and made a pair of Pro Bowls.

That was over a half-decade ago, however. Sanders has settled into a different role post-Broncos, one that’s seen him provide valuable veteran depth to any roster he’s been a part of.

With at least 600 yards in each of the last four seasons, Sanders remains one of the better free-agent wide receivers on the market. He’s in the twilight of his career, but that doesn’t mean he can’t still contribute.
