Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson exorcised a few of his demons last season, but he’s got fresh ones to face in 2022.
Jackson enters the upcoming season with an enormous amount of pressure to bounce back and lead the Ravens into playoff contention after a disappointing 2021 campaign.
Plagued by injuries and bad form, Jackson recorded career-lows across the board last year and the Ravens suffered for it, ending the season with a losing record and missing the postseason entirely.
In 2021, Jackson showed glimpses of his 2019 MVP self in wins against the Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts, but he also showed his worst side in crushing losses against the Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Jackson will look to improve his accuracy and generate consistent rhythm in the Ravens’ passing offense in a very important contract year, and for all the reasons why he could succeed, he also will compete against an intriguing slate of quarterbacks who may out-throw and otherwise outperform him on the field.
