7 standouts from Ravens minicamp headlined by multiple rookies

2. Devon Williams, WR, Ravens
The Ravens never ended up selecting a wide receiver in this year’s draft, even after trading way Marquise Brown. It was the biggest surprise of draft weekend, although they attempted to alleviate any concerns after the draft continued.
The team went out and signed a whopping six undrafted wide receivers with the hope that at least one would emerge from the pack. During minicamp, that player was Devon Williams.
The former Oregon standout made a few notable catches this week including a very impressive one from college teammate Anthony Brown that saw him sky above cornerback David Vereen to make the grab.
At 6-foot-5, 215 pounds, Williams has the size the Ravens are lacking at the wide receiver position. Keep an eye on him as we approach training camp.
1. Isaiah Likely, TE, Ravens
There was no bigger standout for the Ravens this spring than Isaiah Likely. Perhaps his impressive minicamp was slightly overshadowed by the Lamar Jackson headlines, but make no mistake about it, Likely showed up to play.
Likely was perhaps the most productive receiver of the week hauling in numerous passes, including multiple one-handed grabs on Thursday that earned some praise from his quarterback.
The former Coastal Carolina star is competing for snaps in a deep and revamped tight end this summer, although his athleticism and receiving pedigree makes him more versatile than your typical tight end.
Don’t be surprised if Likely becomes a regular part of the receiving game in 2022, especially if he continues to impress this summer.
