Who’s the only kicker who can break Baltimore Ravens’ Justin Tucker’s field goal record? Justin Tucker.

Tucker wowed the league with his historic 66-yard field goal against the Detroit Lions last season, and if anyone can beat that mark, it’s him.

Tucker’s field goal won NFL Moment of the Year and was nominated for the ESPY award for Best Play and ranks as one of the most unforgettable moments in Ravens’ franchise history.

The only thing crazier than setting a league record in longest field goal ever is breaking that same record the year after, and some believe Tucker is more than up to the task.

CBS Sports’ Bryan DeArdo listed 10 NFL records that could be broken in 2022 and had Tucker beating himself for longest field goal:

"“The Ravens’ All-Pro kicker hit a 66-yarder last year, so there’s no reason to doubt that Tucker would try a 67-yarder if the opportunity presents itself this season. Tucker, a rookie when the Ravens won the 2012 Super Bowl, is coming off arguably his best season to date. He made nearly 95% of his field goals last year, included making each of his six kicks that were at least 50 yards.”"

Ravens’ Justin Tucker could feasibly set another record for longest FG in 2022

Already hailed as the greatest kicker in NFL history, Tucker has bailed out the Ravens on countless occasions and has become a fan favorite despite playing a largely unheralded position.

In 2021, Tucker led the league in field goal percentage and continued to prove his steely nerves as the king of clutch — he hasn’t missed a field goal in the fourth quarter or overtime for the last 58 straight attempts.

Hopefully, Ravens games won’t come down to Tucker nailing a 65-plus yard attempt, but Tucker certainly has the leg to keep setting records year after year. The kicker told The Ringer back in 2017:

"“As soon as I tell anyone I can hit from 74, 75, 80, I’m not saying it to blow smoke; I’m saying it because I can do it. I’ve hit from 79 in practice, my best guess is I can hit an 84-yarder.”"

An 84-yarder would be downright laughable, but we’ve learned that you can always expect the unexpected when it comes to Justin Tucker.
