The Baltimore Ravens were already set to enter the 2022 season with a thin outside linebacker corps made even thinner by injuries. That was before one of their key depth pieces was ruled out for the season.

Veteran outside linebacker Vince Biegel suffered a torn Achilles during Thursday’s practice that will keep him sidelined for the entire 2022 campaign. The injury leaves an already-thin position group scrambling for depth.

Odafe Oweh is recovering from offseason shoulder surgery but is expected to be ready to go for Week 1. The same can’t necessarily be said for Tyus Bowser whose status for Week 1 remains unclear with the veteran pass rusher recovering from a torn Achilles of his own.

The Ravens did bring back Justin Houston to add much-needed veteran depth to their roster, but aside from him, there isn’t much in the way of established depth.

The team hopes that someone like 2021 fifth-round pick Daelin Hayes could carve out a role this season, but the former Notre Dame standout played just four snaps as a rookie before landing on the injured reserve.

Others such as veteran Steven Means or undrafted rookies Jeremiah Moon and Chuck Wiley aren’t exactly players that could be relied upon. The Ravens could use some additional depth, and the free-agent market might just be the place to find some.

Let’s take a look at six remaining free agents the Ravens could sign following the Vince Biegel injury.
