Many notable Baltimore Ravens players were missing from practice on Wednesday, including quarterback Lamar Jackson and tight end Mark Andrews.

Jackson played every snap in the Ravens’ Week 11 win against the Carolina Panthers, though he did miss the Friday practice before that game due to illness.

He was absent yet again from Wednesday’s practice, and head coach John Harbaugh will likely provide more clarity on Jackson’s situation later on in the day.

This marks the second practice Jackson has missed all season in 2022. The star quarterback missed a chunk of the 2021 season due to an ankle injury, but whatever he’s suffering from now doesn’t seem too serious.

Along with Jackson, Mark Andrews, Ronnie Stanley, Kyle Hamilton, Marcus Peters, Justin Houston, Calais Campbell, Kevin Zeitler, and Jalyn Armour-Davis also were not present.

In better news, the Ravens saw a few familiar faces back in the fold as safety Marcus Williams returned to the field. On Wednesday, Baltimore designated Williams to return from injured reserve after Williams suffered a wrist injury in Week 5; while Williams didn’t look 100 percent healthy out there, logging his first limited practice with the team is an important step in his recovery.

Practice squad wideout DeSean Jackson also participated in practice after hurting his hamstring in his Ravens’ debut against the Saints.

Running back Gus Edwards was spotted, too — he sat out of Week 11’s game and was limited in every practice last week, but the team seems hopeful he can suit up for Week 12’s matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
