The Baltimore Ravens got some good news about safety Kyle Hamilton, who could return to the lineup in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos.

Wednesday’s practice report contained plenty of good news as it appears several key players are recovering in time for the final stretch of the season. Ronnie Stanley, Isaiah Likely, and Kyle Hamilton returned to the field in a limited capacity and are on track to play on Sunday.

Both Stanley and Hamilton suffered injuries in Week 11’s win against the Carolina Panthers, and the Ravens are lucky that neither player’s injury seems serious.

Hamilton told reporters that he expects to play against Denver, and the rookie defender will inject a needed dose of talent in the backfield.

Fellow safety Marcus Williams has also been making his way to a full recovery and was spotted catching passes in individual drills on Wednesday.

The returns of both Hamilton and Williams would obviously benefit the secondary unit, though the defense seems to need more discipline than anything. Baltimore’s late-game defense suffered yet again in the fourth quarter of Week 12’s loss, ceding 18 points to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence admittedly had an outstanding game, but the Ravens’ defensive collapse issues aren’t an anomaly.

Mike Macdonald will no doubt look for solutions for the defense’s underwhelming fourth-quarter play, and news of Hamilton’s and Williams’ impending returns certainly bodes good things for the team’s overall production moving forward.

Injuries appear to be a problem of the past for Baltimore, yet a very important player unfortunately exited Wednesday’s practice early
