The Baltimore Ravens have established themselves as a drafting powerhouse in recent history, and this year’s Pro Bowl roundup just goes to show their franchise’s front office smarts.

Six Baltimore players were picked for the 2023 AFC Pro Bowl roster: Mark Andrews, Marlon Humphrey, Justin Tucker, Pat Ricard, Devin Duvernay, and Roquan Smith.

Those players have impressed in their own right and absolutely deserve their Pro Bowl spots, yet there are several other ex-Ravens in the league who also got into the 2023 Pro Bowl games.

Matt Judon, Orlando Brown, C.J. Mosley, and Kyle Juszczyk are just a handful of players who got their starts in Baltimore and have gone on to enjoy incredible success.

Ravens just know how to pick ’em: team’s drafting philosophy wins out again

This past draft, the Ravens were widely praised for their smart, good-value picks from the first to the final rounds. Baltimore plucked Kyle Hamilton with the 14th pick — the highly touted safety ended up falling out of the top-10 — and then picked up Tyler Linderbaum later in the first round, who has developed into one of the team’s most reliable offensive lineman.

This year, Baltimore’s special teams unit shone the most with kicker Justin Tucker and return specialist Devin Duvernay getting deserved recognition for their contributions.

It’s nice to see Pancake Pat get into the Pro Bowl, too, as well as All-Pro corner Marlon Humphrey, who has all but returned to elite form after getting injured last season.

Across the league, former Ravens fullback Kyle Juszczyk has been thriving in San Francisco’s offensive scheme, and Patriots’ Matt Judon has racked up a career-high 14.5 sacks on the year.

Judon ultimately outpriced his stay at Baltimore and has been missed in the pass-rush, yet the Ravens will continue doing what they do best: draft, develop, repeat.
