The Baltimore Ravens will want to end their 2022 season on a hot streak and get a win against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17.

The Ravens have already secured a playoff spot, so this primetime matchup against the Steelers is mostly about pride — and winning the AFC North, of course.

Baltimore took care of business against Pittsburgh in Week 14 with backup Tyler Huntley under center, but things haven’t exactly gone swimmingly since Lamar Jackson’s injury.

One win behind the Cincinnati Bengals, the Ravens still haven’t found the solution for their red zone execution issues and recently lost wideout Devin Duvernay; in Duvernay’s place, Sammy Watkins could look to move the chains in the passing game, as could Mark Andrews who has been bottled up lately.

The Steelers are trying to keep their playoff hopes alive — can the Ravens ruin their 2022 season?

Let’s take a look at the latest betting odds.

The over/under for the game is set at 35.5 total points.

Ravens vs. Steelers Prediction Week 17

Given the current odds, Vegas doesn’t think Lamar Jackson will return in time for the game as Jackson has yet to participate in practice this week. The last time these two teams played against each other, the match turned into a total slogfest with scrappy quarterback play from both sides; both Vegas and past performances suggest this is anybody’s game for the taking.

In their Week 11 meeting, Mitchell Trubisky threw three interceptions after Kenny Pickett exited the game due to a concussion. This time around, though, Pickett is set to play his first full game against the Ravens. Baltimore may see Marcus Peters miss his second straight game due to injury, yet the Ravens’ secondary should be deep enough to pick off one of the league’s most turnover-prone quarterbacks in Pickett.

Pittsbugh head coach Mike Tomlin recently praised the Ravens’ defense for being a “formidable bunch,” singling out Roquan Smith and Patrick Queen as two of the most athletic and talented defenders in Baltimore.

This game will likely play out the same way Ravens’ games have played out in the last several weeks: a run-heavy offense paired with a strong defense (and special teams) to punch out an excruciatingly close victory and win the series against the Steelers.
