Ravens offensive coordinator tracker 2023: Updates and more
By Kristen Wong
The Baltimore Ravens are currently in the hunt for a new offensive coordinator after parting ways with Greg Roman this year.
The Ravens are one of ten NFL teams looking to fill that position before the 2023 season, and the team mentioned during the end-of-season presser that quarterback Lamar Jackson would have a say in picking the next play-caller.
Roman memorably helmed Baltimore’s offense when Jackson won league MVP back in 2019, yet the franchise needed a change of direction following a disappointing 2022 season that saw the Ravens get knocked out of the playoffs in the Wild Card round.
The Ravens’ offensive coordinator position arguably appears more desirable than others as the candidate would get to work with Lamar Jackson (assuming he stays with the team) and help mold the future of Baltimore’s offense. The wideout corps isn’t so tantalizing, but the unit will probably get a drastic makeover in the coming months with the team looking to add reinforcements in the draft and free agency.
Here’s an updated list of offensive coordinator candidates the Ravens have submitted interview requests for so far this offseason:
