The Baltimore Ravens have talent at every position. Everywhere you look, they have players worthy of making Pro Bowls and All-Pro teams. There is so much talent that they are one of the top picks to capture the Lombardi Trophy in 2025.

With all the elite players scattered around the field, it is anyone’s guess as to who will be the best player on the field any given Sunday. They have offensive weapons who can take over the game on any down and defensive playmakers who can make their mark on just one play. But who will be the players who change the game and step up to the challenge that awaits this year?

3 bold predictions for 3 Ravens in 2025

Kyle Hamilton wins Defensive Player of the Year

Do-it-all safety Kyle Hamilton is the most important player on the Ravens defense. He flies around the field, makes plays, and locks down opposing receivers. In 2024, he took a bit of a backseat, handling more deep safety duties due to the secondary struggles. However, in 2025, he should be taking over his prior responsibilities.

The addition of rookie safety Malaki Starks should unlock another level of dominance in Hamilton. Like Hamilton, Starks is as versatile as any defensive back. It opens up the opportunity for Hamilton to play near the line of scrimmage and roam the field where he is at his best. He might be the most important player to any defense in the league. With that kind of significance on the defensive side, he is an easy candidate for the award.

Nate Wiggins leads the league in interceptions

Second-year cornerback Nate Wiggins said he wants to force 10 or more turnovers in 2025. He ended the regular season on a high note with his first career interception--a pick-six against the Cleveland Browns in Week 18. Now, the stress of getting that first interception is off his back. He has all the attributes to start producing takeaways at a high rate and possesses the necessary intangibles.

The 21-year-old radiates confidence. It is a crucial attribute for any corner, and when you also have Wiggins' lockdown ability, the turnovers will come. Detroit Lions safety Kerby Joseph led the NFL with nine picks last year, so it will be a difficult mark to reach, but Wiggins has the makings of a playmaking corner. He will just have to stop dropping picks.

LaJohntay Wester makes First-Team All-Pro as a punt returner

Sixth-round rookie LaJohntay Wester is one of those players who needs the ball in his hands. At Florida Atlantic and Colorado, he was an electric playmaker. He was a threat to go for big yards at any point. In year one with the Ravens, he might not get the looks at wide receiver, but it sounds like the team will try him out as a punt returner.

Wester has the speed and elusiveness to dominate on special teams. He has outstanding hands and concentration like the most elite returners, but he is also slippery in the open field and showcases breakaway speed whenever he has the ball in his hands. It could take Wester some time to adjust to the NFL, but it sounds like he is already impressing coaches in the offseason.

The Ravens are capable of anything in 2025, and if any of these predictions come true, they should be on track to become Super Bowl champions.
