The Baltimore Ravens made their most aggressive trade in franchise history, acquiring edge rusher Maxx Crosby for first-round picks in 2026 and 2027. With the move, the hope is that their abysmal pass rush from 2025 is fixed, headed by Crosby and 2025 second-round selection Mike Green.
Although Crosby and Green should form one of the most exciting rush duos in football next season, there’s still work to do to fill out the rest of the unit. Outside of Green and Tavius Robinson, there could be an almost entirely new outside linebacker group next year.
Pending free agents like Dre’Mont Jones, Kyle Van Noy, and David Ojabo could be on their way out. And with the top-three set along the edge, Adisa Isaac is another player who could be an outcast.
Isaac has yet to show anything in his NFL career, but he is still just 24 years old. That could be enough to draw some sort of interest from teams on the trade market this offseason. General manager Eric DeCosta certainly wouldn’t mind the extra draft capital. These three destinations could make some sense.
3 potential trade destinations for Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Adisa Isaac
New York Giants
For any Baltimore Ravens on the free agent or trade market, the New York Giants are going to be thrown out as a fit. After being fired, John Harbaugh landed as the head coach with the New York Giants. He brought some key coaches with him, like special teams coordinator Chris Horton.
Isaac could develop into a solid depth piece, which is something any team needs. However, New York should already have an above-average pass rush unit. It’s special teams that makes Isaac a candidate to join the Giants if traded.
The former Penn State Nittany Lion has only played in four career games, but in those outings, he’s gotten experience on every special teams unit. As a former special teams coach, special teams will always be a major part of Harbaugh-coached teams. Having that familiarity with both Harbaugh and Horton should make Isaac a desirable piece to add if made available.
Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins are headed toward a total rebuild. After looking like a rising team under former head coach Mike McDaniel, they fell flat in 2025. Much of that was due to an inept defense.
Their defense lacks all sorts of talent, and among those spots they need is pass rush. Behind Chop Robinson, they don’t have much depth. Isaac obviously isn’t proven, but he was a third-round pick just two years ago. Given their position, it may be worth taking a shot on Isaac’s upside.
The Ravens also hired Anthony Weaver as defensive coordinator, who was Miami’s defensive coordinator from 2024 to 2025. The Dolphins could use that connection to acquire a player like Isaac from Baltimore.
San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers were one of the few teams with fewer sacks than the Ravens in 2025. In fact, they were dead last, finishing far behind the competition with an unbelievably bad 20 sacks. They could use all the help they can get at that spot.
While a lot of that can be drawn up to injuries, the 49ers could still use a player like Isaac to round out their pass rush unit. They have two players from last year’s group, Yetur Gross-Matos and Clelin Ferrell, becoming free agents, and San Francisco could look to replace them with a cheap addition on the trade market, rather than paying up for depth in free agency.
Ultimately, Isaac may not be too likely a trade candidate. He has barely touched the field through the first two years of his career due to injuries. Someone could take the risk for his upside, though, and he'd probably only cost a late-day three pick.
