We are drawing closer and closer to the 2026 NFL Draft. April 23 is well within sight, and 30 visits are beginning to take place to get teams acquainted with the prospects they may soon be selecting. The Baltimore Ravens have already brought in an intriguing group of players.
One confirmed visit that Baltimore has had is with Florida’s Caleb Banks. Banks has gone on record to say that he’s met with the Ravens and has also garnered interest from seven other teams.

The 327-pound defensive lineman has been a hot name through this year’s draft process. It’s certainly been an up-and-down few months. Still, it sounds like the second round will be his floor, and Baltimore’s pick at 45 could be an excellent landing spot.
Baltimore Ravens could complete terrifying defensive front with Caleb Banks pick
Banks is a powerhouse in the middle of the defensive line. While there is a fair share of questions about his lack of production and foot injuries, he’d turn the ante up in the trenches in Baltimore. The potential pairing could prove to be a great fit.
The Ravens already have Nnamdi Madubuike and Travis Jones lined up along the interior, and Trey Hendrickson and Mike Green are set to wreak havoc off the edge. Throw Banks in that mix, and there'd be endless talent on that front. Pass rush or run-stopping ability, they'd have it all.
NFL.com’s Eric Edholm believes that the Ravens using their second-round selection on Banks could also be the ideal move for them. Edholm wrote:
“The Banks pick might be a bit too on the nose, given the Ravens’ willingness to take calculated draft risks, but if he checks out medically (supply your own punchline), Banks could give the front another pressure source.”
Banks is the exact type of player that NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah has urged the Ravens to select in this year’s draft. He’s mentioned they have to become the bullies again and add some size. Banks’ 6-foot-6, 327-pound frame would bring exactly that: a bully.
His monstrous size goes beyond that, too. Banks caught the eyes of everyone at the NFL Combine with outstanding measurements. He’s got enormous hands, enormous arms, and an enormous wingspan. He’s pretty much got everything you want in that aspect.

God don't make many of 'em like Caleb Banks https://t.co/Q5DHt6lGhM
Banks really never brought much production to the table in college. Through 34 games, he only tallied 6.5 sacks and 10.5 tackles for loss. He was also limited to just three games in 2025 after suffering a broken foot. At the NFL Combine, he heightened those concerns when he broke the fourth metatarsal in his left foot. That concern has become a red flag.
Ultimately, Banks would be one of those “best player available” moves for the Ravens. If he’s there at 45, he would undoubtedly be one of the top prospects on the board. There’s clearly some interest following the news of the 30 visit; however, with a new coaching staff, and their most recent injury draft risk in David Ojabo not panning out, maybe they talk themselves out of that possibility.
