The Baltimore Ravens had a chance to sneak into the playoffs on the last day of the season. Unfortunately, their Week 18 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers unraveled in the most heartbreaking way imaginable. Their 26-24 loss will haunt fans for years to come, and is just another gut-wrenching loss in the John Harbaugh era.
On paper, the Ravens entered the 2025 campaign with one of the best rosters. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most misconstructed rosters in the NFL, and the coaches failed to hold up their end of the bargain, as well.
Baltimore has a stacked free agent class for the coming offseason, and while General Manager Eric DeCosta has done his job locking up some key players in recent months, there is a long way to go. For these six Ravens, their time in Baltimore seems to be coming to a close.
6 Ravens players who definitely won't be back in 2026
Daniel Faalele
Right guard Daniel Faalele needs to be shown the door. Throughout the 2025 campaign, he has been a thorn in the offense’s side, especially in pass protection. Quarterback Lamar Jackson’s pocket fell from the interior on countless occasions this season, and in the run game, Faalele’s inability to keep himself upright and hit blocks on the move limited the production of running back Derrick Henry and company.
DeCosta desperately needs to find above-average talent at guard, and letting Faalele walk is the first step.
Isaiah Likely
Shout out to tight end Isaiah Likely for coming up clutch with that huge catch on fourth down to get Baltimore in field goal range. Unfortunately, it’s been an extremely inconsistent year for Likely. He finished with 27 receptions for 303 yards and two touchdowns, and he had just two games with 60 or more yards. He didn’t blossom into the player many were hoping to see, and with starting tight end Mark Andrews on the books for three years and $39.3 million, he should find a new deal elsewhere.
David Ojabo
When outside linebacker David Ojabo was selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, many thought the Ravens were getting a steal. Instead, they made one of their most disappointing selections in recent memory. Through four years, Ojabo has only accumulated 4.5 sacks. He could stick around on a cheap deal, but it might be best for him to try to revive his NFL career with a new team.
Cooper Rush
The Cooper Rush experiment failed miserably. In four games, Rush threw four interceptions and zero touchdowns. The offense was completely stagnant under the 32-year-old, and it became clear that he was the issue once backup quarterback Tyler Huntley took over and led the Ravens to two wins in two starts. Rush is still under contract next year, but after this season, there is no reason for him to stick around.
Kyle Van Noy
After back-to-back career-best campaigns, outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy fell flat in 2025. He tallied just two sacks and was close to a non-factor on a down-to-down basis in terms of pressure. Sure, he still offers some ability as a run defender and is a valuable veteran to have in the locker room, but it is obviously best to go in a different direction with guys like Mike Green and Dre’Mont Jones off the edge.
Joe Noteboom
Offensive tackle Joe Noteboom was brought in to fill that swing tackle role, but he failed to capitalize on his limited opportunities. In fact, rookie offensive tackle Carson Vinson stole his backup tackle job at times throughout the season and actually showed some real promise (albeit just seven reps). There was a reason why Vinson started getting the nods on gamedays over Noteboom, and with the veteran in need of a new contract, there is little to no reason to bring him back.
