The Baltimore Ravens are a difficult team to predict when the NFL offseason arrives. The team tends to keep inside information close to heart, and any rumors that do eventually arise tend to be hit-and-miss.
This is especially true for the draft process. The Ravens are highly regarded as one of the best drafting teams, constantly adding key building blocks through that area of the offseason. A huge reason for that is their ability to remain relatively unpredictable.
However, there may be a tell for their draft strategy this year. It’s a bit of a coin flip, but it could be one way to pinpoint their interest in a player they could select at No. 14: their 30 visits.
Baltimore Ravens’ 30-visit trend could signal 2026 NFL Draft decision
It’s not a sure-fire hit, but over their last 14 selections in the first round, seven of those selections ended up being players that Baltimore held a 30-visit with. That’s tied for the 10th-highest percentage in the league.

Among those picks are Zay Flowers (2023), Patrick Queen (2020), Marquise Brown (2019), Hayden Hurst and Lamar Jackson (2018), Ronnie Stanley (2016), and Breshad Perriman (2015). Outside of Hurst and Perriman, that’s a pretty strong hit rate on guys that fit into that criteria. It might be worth revisiting that well.
Admittedly, this trend’s not as consistent in recent history. As the data shows, their last two picks, Malaki Starks and Nate Wiggins, were selected without having 30 visits to Baltimore. Additionally, only two of their six first-round picks in the 2020’s are included on that list.
It’s also worth noting that only one of those guys (Stanley) was a pick made at the top half of the draft. The Ravens’ other picks in that range, Kyle Hamilton (14th overall) and Marlon Humphrey (16th overall), weren’t brought in for 30 visits. There could be a reason to keep a potential connection at such a highly coveted draft slot under wraps, making it a total guessing game for other teams and walking into the best-case scenario.
Still, it’s a trend worth keeping an eye on. The names to watch that reportedly have 30 visits scheduled with the Ravens are Kayden McDonald (Ohio State), Max Iheanachor (Arizona State), Caleb Banks (Florida), Zion Young (Missouri), KC Concepcion (Texas A&M), and Denzel Boston (Washington).
Each of those prospects has gotten some sort of first-round buzz. However, they’re also candidates to be drafted later on Day 1, rather than at pick 14. Maybe a trade-down scenario is in the cards. It could make sense given the lack of high-end talent in this year’s draft.
There's still a lot to learn with two weeks left before the 2026 NFL Draft, but with what we know right now, things could slowly be falling into place in Charm City.
