The Baltimore Ravens live for the NFL Draft. It’s their bread and butter, the backbone of their success, and the reason they’ve remained a powerhouse for years. General manager Eric DeCosta has mastered the art of accumulating extra picks, whether it’s through compensatory selections, trades, or just being smarter than the rest of the league when it comes to roster management.
With the 2025 draft approaching, the Ravens once again find themselves in a strong position. Thanks to a combination of compensatory picks and shrewd deals, Baltimore has 11 total selections, including four extra picks awarded due to free-agent losses last offseason. That means more ammunition for DeCosta to maneuver, whether that’s trading up for a game-changing player or simply stockpiling young talent to reinforce the Ravens' already elite roster.
Let’s break down every pick Baltimore has in the 2025 NFL Draft, along with how they acquired them.

- Round 6, Pick 185 – Acquired from the Panthers in the Diontae Johnson trade
The Ravens lost some big-name players in 2024 free agency, but they’ve been compensated accordingly. The loss of Patrick Queen, who signed a lucrative deal with Pittsburgh, netted Baltimore a fourth-round pick, while Clowney, Stone, and Zeitler each brought back valuable late-round selections.
Baltimore also flipped their original fifth-round pick to the Carolina Panthers in exchange for Diontae Johnson while receiving an extra sixth-rounder in return. That trade was thought to give the Ravens some much-needed wide receiver depth while still keeping plenty of flexibility in the draft. The draft pick is still valuable even though Johnson was not.
With 11 total selections, DeCosta has options galore. He can package picks to trade up for a top-tier talent, draft a deep class of contributors, or use some of these picks as trade bait for veteran help. Given Baltimore’s knack for hitting home runs in the draft, expect them to capitalize on this loaded 2025 class in a major way.
