Bradley Chubb just made life a lot harder for the Ravens this week

Is he sure he doesn't need a week off?

The Baltimore Ravens are coming off their first win since Week 2, taking down the Chicago Bears to move to 2-5 and to give themselves a fighting chance at making the playoffs despite their putrid start. Unfortunately, they don't have much time to celebrate the victory because they have to turn around and head south to play the Miami Dolphins on a short week.

That's not the only bit of bad news the Ravens are dealing with. Dolphins star pass rusher Bradley Chubb, who was listed on the injury report with shoulder and foot injuries and did not practice on Monday, has said that he's good to go for this matchup. This is the last thing the Ravens offense wanted to hear heading into this key Week 9 game.

Chubb has been a menace for the 'Fins so far in 2025, tallying four sacks in eight games and not looking like the entire missed season in 2024 impacted him whatsoever. In 2023, he had 11 sacks and, as mentioned, despite missing all of last year, Chubb hasn't missed a step in his comeback season.

Bradley Chubb expected to play vs. Ravens in Week 9

The good news for the Ravens is that Lamar Jackson is expected to take the snaps at quarterback for the first time since Week 4 when he was injured against the Chiefs. While Chubb is an absolute monster and will make it his life's work to get after Jackson, fans have to be feeling better about Jackson being out there over Tyler Huntley and especially over Cooper Rush.

While we aren't rooting for injuries by any means, Chubb's injuries slowing him down a bit wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. The Ravens just got Jackson back after an extended period of time missed so the fewer hits he can take in his return, the better.
