The Baltimore Ravens are clinging to Mark Andrews for dear life, so much so that the decision to commit to him beyond the 2025 season was one of the main contributing factors to Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar leaving in free agency for the John Harbaugh-led New York Giants and Joe Hortiz-led Los Angeles Chargers, respectively.

The Ravens may be working with a new head coach in Jesse Minter, but as long as Lamar Jackson is under center, this team should be considered a viable championship contender. A tight end should be right at the top of their list when the NFL trade deadline comes around, and there's a good chance that a big-name target could shake free.

ESPN's Dan Graziano listed Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts as a player who could be on the move at the 2026 NFL trade deadline, and he also lited the Ravens as a possible team who could be in the running for him in that situation.

Ravens listed as NFL trade deadline suitor for Falcons TE Kyle Pitts

After struggling to live up to some immense hype after being picked fourth overall in the 2021 NFL Draft as a tight end, Pitts' 1,000-yard rookie season was followed up by middling production. 2025 was his best year to date, as he caught 88 passes for 928 yards and scored five touchdowns. Even while losing targets to Drake London and Bijan Robinson, Pitts was effective.

Baltimore is in their usual pass-catcher holding pattern. Andrews will do his thing, Flowers has shown to be a high-end WR2 and low-end WR1 in his career that will top 1,000 yards, and a collection of young players that will likely be fighting for snaps despite fairly milquetoast stats. Baltimore hasn't made a big trade deadline acqusition on Pitts' level in years, at least on offense.

With London recently extended and Robinson awaiting a contract that may reset the market in the backfield, Atlanta may not have the money to give Pitts the deal he wants. This makes them a motivated seller, and it would give Jackson a No. 2 pass catcher that can throw it back to the days when Andrews was in his athletic prime.

With the Michael Penix Jr. and Tua Tagovailoa arms race lording over Atlanta's 2026 season, there's a good chance that the Falcons may be at the bottom of the NFC South standings, which could get them looking at possible Pitts trades.
